My question is that they have me following the VP46archive account. So clearly, they knew I was following Harris, not the office. Having us auto-follow the new account just feels terrible.

Ah, I realize this may be because I was following VP Kamala's account. However, it also has me following the vp46archive account. If I follow a specific person, I'm following the person, not the office.

Oh, I am beyond furious. I was planning on starting my day with a happy Bluesky post. But when I logged in to my Instagram account today, I saw that I was following JD Vance. That a company could force me to follow someone this terrible without my consent is not a company I want any part of.

It is so easy to feel helpless in the face of national outrage, but take power in the things you can do. I turned in our town census info and signed up for vote by mail for our next elections. Participate in your town elections. Act and keep moving forward.
