I'm not sure if my followers on here care about personal stuff, but I just want to share that after a very dark week I have decided that I'm going back into therapy. I am really disappointed that I'm not able to manage life on my own anymore, but at least I have some perspective going forward.

Today I had to say goodbye to my best buddy since 2011 after the vet discovered a tumor yesterday. I cannot describe the amount of pain I am in right now after having loved him so dearly for so many years, but at least he is now free of pain.

My cat is 13 years old, he's been with me since he was 8 weeks. The past 5 days he's become very timid, has barely eaten or drunk and has visibly lost weight. I'm taking him to the vet in 2 hours. I'm so afraid of losing him that I keep bursting into tears 😭
