We simply have to get past the idiotic dogma that any deals or even discussions with the EU is a "betrayal of Brexit".

The simple fact is we do more trade with the EU than anyone else, so it is clearly in the UK's national interest to work with them.

I admit I've watched and (on the whole) enjoyed and admired them all.

But enjoying a dramatic performance is not the same as endorsing its content.

Your argument, Tom, reminds me firmly of Stephen Fry's Munk debate point about Political Correctness. It makes the speaker feel more virtuous, but doesn't actually improve the lives or lots of the disadvantaged, poor, minorities etc.
