Ok this is the end of day 4. Never saw such a positive test. Got the week off on sick leave...
And my window builder also effed up. So far for window replacement in autumn when outside temperatures are still above 0°C... 🤬

Of course I couldn't just kill the original firmware without a backup. So after fiddling with some exploit software for 5h to circumvent the read-protection, I managed to make a full backup of the flash and then put my own Firmware into the Microcontroller... Good first vacation day! #3dprinting

Decisions: Do I leave the TR-751E as is configured as A version with CTCSS, but without call channel LED and squelch circuit OR add the missing bits including LED and modified front plate OR do I cut the tone button from the keyboard matrix and wire it to the 1750Hz testcon. #hamradio #amateurfunk

Now I just need to decide and decipher the diode matrix. I have conflicting instructions what's the default for a 751A... I probably also want to keep a few settings for 600KHz shift, 12.5KHz FM and 1KHz SSB tuning step. Some parts of the squelch circuit are not populated. #hamradio #Amateurfunk

Let’s do this pragmatic: Start by burning down the house! 🔥 As my craftsman sanded the isolation of my 230V cables, i had to cut them short and shoehorn 3 Wago connectors behind the socket… If the house burns down I did not waste time cleaning at least

Well my craftsmen know how to do a heating installation that does not leak, but do not let them near your electric installation... After I sorted the first disaster wiring, we have now sanded of wire isolation and the mesh is also poking out a bit I just saw... 1/2
