Indeed, the prospect of needing to sift through so many posts to find posts made by people I know and trust just feels... wasteful. Like I could be spending my time doing anything else. It's a very conflicting feeling, all things considered.

I've noticed this too - probably because the only people who want to move to Bluesky are typically extremely deep into the fandom and are validly annoyed at the general vibe on Twitter? Either way, it's quite a welcome change of pace.
