This is backwards of why I think the tech world went all-in on LLMs:
The tools were built around writing code, and they're pretty good at that! (still requires human review, but handles the tedium)
So TechBros assumed it was just as good at the "humanities" stuff they didn't understand as well.

I we assume you're correct, and he wouldn't believe any of this "both sides" nonsense if he were on the "other side" of the fascism, that's WORSE, not better.

They were already pretty fun, too!

So few pitchers from the 2000s and after are going to get in based on older voters' current standards that it's going to completely skew HoF representation.

Johan Santana was one of the 3-5 best pitchers in MLB for eight straight seasons, won two Cys, and fell off the HoF ballot after one year!

This would actually be far LESS of an international crime than what the US reportedly did, Ukraine and Russia are actively at war, a war which Russia started.

Wait, you’re using “weird” negatively too, now I’m completely confused.

They probably should have changed up their language for a national audience to something like “creepy”, but definitely kept saying it.

But Walz’s comment was natural, and NOT exclusionary, for his previous constituency.

For better or worse, that’s not how Minnesota language/slang works. “Weird” generally has negative connotations, while “odd”, “unusual”, or “quirky” are more often endearing.

He’s become such a unique, high impact offensive player as Mazzulla has leaned into all of his primary offensive guys taking a ton of OTD mid-range jumpers. The deep threes are still there for PP, he’s always been a strong finisher for his size, and now he’s a LEGIT three-level scorer.

That case caused EVERY entity working with the State of Minnesota to implement entirely new, highly burdensome requirements. EVERYONE has been talking about it locally since it happened.

Meanwhile, PPP fraud cost taxpayers MUCH more money, and Tr*mp pardoned most people who actually got caught.

Also Castle becoming SuperAwesome 20 games into year 2. Holy smokes is that dude good, already…

He HAD to have played football, right? He’s from freaking Tomball, Texas…

That’s an ethnicity, haven’t you played Street Fighter II?

I much preferred the overall play style both in the 80s, and in the 2010s-to-now.
December 18, 2025 at 4:32 PM
I think people mythologize the 90s/2000s NBA, because Jordan was incredible, 90s was the last time the Knicks were good until just now, the Lakers had the tail-end of Magic/Kareem and then Shaq/Kobe, the West built its depth of good teams, etc.

But the clutch-and-grab style of play wasn't great.
December 18, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Would it have been the weirdest night, only because of Rick Mahorn giving you the pie? That seems fair.
December 16, 2025 at 1:53 AM
That’s always the dream for hardcore fans.

The NBA / teams are unlikely to ever officially offer that audio, though, because they’d be understandably worried about unedited/non-censored in-game player audio.

And also wouldn’t want to ask the players to self-censor for public consumption.

The only way this is true is if it was viewed as an opportunity to have Bob around to party with if he was kept close. And all of the "there for him" happened in place the other guy wanted to be anyway (and maybe was able to use as an excuse to NOT be places he was expected, but didn't want tobe ).
December 15, 2025 at 3:43 PM
Do you think these developments make Podziemski more expendable in a big trade?

I’m skeptical they have a real shot at Giannis, but Davis would be a big upgrade (when healthy) even w/ Draymond outgoing, and they might be able to keep most of their draft assets if Podz and Kuminga were included.

He took FOUR steps, including obviously lifting/sliding the pivot foot, BEFORE the step-through. C'mon now.

Even Harden would just smile and toss the ref the ball if he was (extremely correctly) called for traveling on that move. It's absurd.
December 9, 2025 at 5:57 PM
The gather was already a travel, he takes three full steps after the ball is in his hands, THEN he lifts/slides the "pivot foot" AFTER that, all before the step through (which would be legal, if he hadn't taken FOUR steps before it happened...)
December 9, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Except he lifted and re-placed the "pivot foot" before the step through. AND he had clearly gathered before the first step that people are claiming was his "gather step".

So he took three full steps before the "pivot", then he lifted the pivot & put it back down (4th step) BEFORE the step-through.

We really need to shift the “trade was terrible” analysis from Queen, who is awesome, to Fears.

Who has had flashes, but the Pellies didn’t need to make the trade to get Queen, just draft him at 7.

They gave up a very-likely-future-lotto-pick to get BOTH Queen AND Fears…

Wu-Tang is for the children. And for Naz…
December 7, 2025 at 6:29 AM
The numbers you’re citing ALSO don’t consider how each guy’s very specific role and circumstances impacts their numbers, or literally half the game that those numbers barely touch on (defense).

In the Curry/Mitchell/Brunson/Harden foursome, FWIW, Steph is comfortably the best defensive player.
