Oh, Rie! I know how exhausting it can be, but do your best to retain hope for the future.
I lost hope after my 14th surgery in 14 years. I almost didn't make it, but then was gifted with a wonderful person who helped me through it. It took 7 more surgeries to finally fix the problem, but here I am!

I've been considering an e-reader. I'm still more of the physical book guy, but I have a KU account it just goes mostly unused.
I'm still getting through my latest buys, but once I do, based on your recommendation here, I think I'll get the Kobo Libra. Thanks for the excellent information.

I don't know her. My role in the unit is on the tech end. I'm mainly a liaison between the Surveillance Abstractors and the IT department, so I don't meet very many from the community.

I had a good support system through much of it. Gladly, it's been two years since my last surgery, and I have none planned at this point.
Going to see if I can go two whole years in a row for the first time since 2000.

Having had 21 surgeries in the last 24 years, I completely understand how pre-op can suck at times. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.
