"I shitpost with the ferocity of ten men!"
I'm not technically out of the woods yet, but I can see the edge of the forest. IRCC is getting swamped with Americans fleeing, so processing times when I applied were 11 months. Unless there's other steps the lawyer neglected to mention, I'm probably 2/3 of the way to a decision.

Oh, I'm intimately aware. I don't think my bio has it anymore, but I'm originally American and immigrating to Canada. I have reasons for doing so that don't have to do with my status as a trans person, but the heavyhanded hostility was icing on the cake.

Yeah, as much as I try to relegate political discussions elsewhere, it seems like a weird af hill to die on. Most people don't care enough to be that malicious. And this offers an opportunity to play the bigots like a fiddle.

I realise the first part is vague. To clarify, I'd like to see someone make something more structured for learning Raylib. Like, a *shudders* tutorial from spawning a window to a 2D or 3D minimum viable vertical slice sort of thing.

Unless my opinions are outdated, the thing preventing me from using Raylib more was that you can only get so far stringing what you learn from examples together. That, and being too busy with a Godot based project, but he can't help that one.

I was confused until I saw when this was posted. It happened. We're in a "government shutdown"

Is this like an interest hike or "service fee" increase? Or are they not even giving a reason.

thought I already set up.

The actual problem, I finally found out, was that after the one call about the declined purchases, they just...have been silently charging me every single time it got declined anyway! So many times I have a negative balance with them now!

forms and a photo of my ID that may or may not be necessary if I go to a physical branch in Canada, but if it is, I have to do ALL of that in 24 hours. All because I wanted to make their job easier before I tried to resolve the actual problem (more on that later) by setting up the mobile PIN I

This ride just keeps getting wilder. BMO claims the answers so security questions I only just now have to answer and proved were correct answers are only wrong because the credit bureaus don't know how to look at a map. So my account is locked unless I can magically provide them with notarised

My partner who has been regularly attending drafts for years more or less said the same thing.

I'm not exactly an expert on MTG but I didn't hate Aetherdrift and didn't hear anyone else groaning about it much more than any other draft I've ever been to. It was mediocre but not awful.

Oh, I meant less for contamination reasons and more for having to pull it out of the sink without jabbing your hand reasons. I would've assumes it was compromised either way

tbf I recall people making hair that looks as good as the example on the right without raytracing. imo there either has to be a better way other than raytracing or a better way to get better raytracing hardware without selling a kidney and/or making the PC an industrial furnace.

ngl that sounds terrifying. I hope the sink was empty and the drain wasn't open enough for it to fall in.
