Our middle school art class had 5 empty seats by the end of the year, all immigrant students who disappeared without a trace leaving behind the art they made. None of the other students are willing to say anything about it or when their classmates could be back. It's devastating.
Im trying to do something about this. I’d like to collect the student works from art teachers in the U.S. whose children have disappeared because of ICE.
I’d like to put together an online gallery, contact some journalists, maybe put together a show.
