Another thing, I just remembered. The Gnolls have incredibly detailed fur.... and then the dog in the village looks like this? Didn't want to have nice fur on the dog, only on the Gnolls?

Also in case anyone was curious as to the difficulty I chose. It was Normal, the recommended as per the Devs. I was hoping for it to be a lot more difficult, than what it was. This felt like an Easy difficulty when it comes to Action RPGs.

After the game crashed, I didn't feel like going back in, because while it was okay and I didn't have a reason to stop playing. I also don't have a reason to go back to playing, now that I was forcefully ejected. I'm not complaining about the crash, because it is an Alpha.

The overall game feels very safe, and very Meh and Average overall. The Story feels very generic RPG story. VA isn't bad, but having played Clair Obscur, they're just okay. The combat is okay. Bosses are to me pretty easy, and feel okay to fight. It was an overall okay experience, but nothing more

One of the biggest Red Flags I could see is, that the Alpha has a Battlepass. In an Alpha. It's free and you don't have to pay for it, but it clearly means, that the released game will have a regular paid battle pass.

Additionally seeing this screen, hints at many Microtransactions

Lastly, Oblivion, while it is good fun and I made more story progress than in the OG, the crashes are very annoying. Can be rare, but can be every 15 minutes, or sometimes when loading a specific save, so better make frequent regular saves to not lose too much progress.

Doom: Dark Ages is good Demon slaying fun, but imo pretty short, although most Doom games are and had, or potentially still has, a bug that caused a crash where having an iGPU crashed the game within 15 minutes. I'm amazed this wasn't caught earlier. I hope it got fixed by now though.

Clair Obscur not only has a solid story, but good character development, believable emotional reactions, and a fantastic soundtrack.
