Put paneling on the bottom so it can hold R38 insulation. The frame was there with hinges, previously I had plastic with just a single layer of R19 insulation.

My youngest is 16!!! He drives himself! I do NOT miss the shuffling of kids. I'm sorry you fight this battle alone, time to start using your crock pot for dinners.
