also thinking about the political and public health context that allows for protest mask bans to be pushed through with little noise, compared to the last mass changes to protest law in 2022

it’s really disappointing how much worse public health seems to have gotten since covid restrictions stopped, when there was so much promise at the time (had we had more competent governance driven by public health over what’s more beneficial for big business etc)
