Whenever I get writers block, I do these things:
- eat my favourite foods
- watch my favourite shows
- go for a run
- explain the problem to a friend (even if they didn't ask)
- stare at a blank page
I'm not saying they help, I'm just saying this is what happens.

Studio exec: Can we have a moment in the horror trailer where the protagonist hides in a closet and holds their breath, so we can drop all of the music, have complete silence for two seconds, then have a jumpscare right before we reveal the title of the movie?

What is the point?
The scenes look exactly the same as they were in the animation, the costume design is the exact same. I get it, they want something recognisible, but surely when you do a remake, it's because there's a DIFFERENT vision for the material.
