Making a game
What do you think about this style for a top down rpg? Very small scaled :)

I was asked by @obigobi.bsky.social to do some "before shader" and "after shader" screenshots. So, here it is.

Lately I was thinking about UI for my game, and right now I decided to go with "real object" style for it.

I'm sure the video will be very compressed :) But still.
Got a working dynamic camera and zoom for local coach coop :)

I'm planning to make this game coop, so there will be more than one doggo.

Last chance, vide that is 300kb
You don't need to compress it, right?

Now the doggo has more animations, double jump, animation state machine and, of course, nice moving clouds :)

Bluesky compresses the video too hard :(
And so, I want to share a screenshot.

I thought I need water for my game.

Aside from gamedev, I have other hobbies. One of them is running, usually with my doggo.
At the last race, we took 1st place :)

I started to port this game prototype to Odin+Raylib.
Why? Because it is more challenging that way, I also wanted to try Odin Lang for a long time.

For now, I have shaders and animations working (thanks Karl Zylinski for atlas loader), tilemap - next target.

Yep, it's a shader. The shader itself is pretty simple, but the trick is generating some additional textures for stitches.
For example, I can render the same picture in cross-stitches (but I like other stitches more)

A little bit of pixel art. Or is it a stitch-art?

I prefer to have a structure like that:
