This one hurts. Rodney was one of the big reasons I became a Wake fan as a kid, which ultimately led to me going there in the late 90s. RIP to the Durham Bull.

Wake Forest University announced today that undergraduates from North Carolina with annual family incomes less than $200,000 per year will attend tuition-free, beginning for students admitted for the 2026 fall semester.

First Goal is an amazing program and a fantastic value. Both my sons did it and they're still playing several years later. Definitely worth it if your kid is interested in getting into the game!

Thumbs down to the person(s) who anonymously complained to security that my son's standing and cheering was apparently "excessive". Thumbs up to the Canes team staff members behind and beside us who disagreed, bringing him a puck and later a hat to throw on the ice.
