Putting all the public records together, the kindest way I can describe that person is as history's greatest con-man. I'd prefer not being that generous. But so many different regressive ideas now hinge on abusing the null-achievements of that one person. It'd be fascinating if it weren't sad.

Money, greed, multiple agendas glomming onto an easily manipulated target. An entire generation (or two, depending on how you think of age vs time in office) are basically chained to propping up a criminal. And not just any, one of the most prolifically documented individuals in modern history.

The strongest tool of the incoming coup is that the past of every individual involved, which would historically have been treated for what it was, is being sane-washed and memory-holed so quickly that it's clearly their strategy. "Truth" and "Legitimacy" and "Justice" are all facades.
