I like to try to smile and acknowledge every single person I see on the street as I go about my day. Some don’t smile back, but most do, and you can see in their eyes how much it brightens their day. It is a gift to see and be seen by others.

There's no shame in taking a personal day. No machine can be productive until it re-charges its batteries. Play hooky. Get a massage. Have a bath. Make some cookies. Just BE.
