Almost five years ago, I designed and uploaded Slam's first and, until now, only reference sheet. She, really, needed an update.

A detailed front and back reference sheet of an original transformers animated character named Slam. She stand at a 3/4 angle, legs slightly aparts and right hand held away from the body. The design closely follows that of the TFA style, with over all simple, blocky shapes and bright colors. Slam has a childish look to her due to her shorter stature (6 heads tall) and the rounded shape language used in the design. Most of the detail is seen in the upper half of her body. Large, blue doe eyes are set in a silver colored face framed by gold armor. Her helmet comes in two pieces, a inner red with black line markings, and slate color flares wrapping from the either side of her head to the back of it. Her head is partially framed by her two large slate shoulder pauldrons. Each pauldron has a large golden ring in the center that frames a red circle, and golden trim at the bottom of the armor. Also partly framed by her pauldrons is her gold colored chest plate that bears the autobot insignia in it's center. Most of the chest plate has black line detailing. The detailing is in a six sided shape with the top being a gentle curve and both side coming to curved point, similar to the chest of the chest plate, and the bottom curing inward to follow the concaved bottom of the chest plate. Fanning out like a pair of wings behind her is the tail of her alt.mode. Nestled at the top of her chest plate is a square red neck guard. Each forearm is slate grey, trimmed at the top with gold. A thick black border separates her four fingers, each gold and pointed, from her hands. Her hips and calves are also in the same slate color. Her legs and knees are particularly chunky in shape, accented with red knee pads and golded pedes. Her protoform is bright yellow. To the side of her reference is an image of her alt.mode, pachycephalosaurus, a headshot of her with a blue visor covering the upper half of her face, and blue crystal bonsai tree in a pot.

So, I decided to make some changes to Arc's ref. sheet, because, I wasn't totally happy with the redesign. So I made some little changes.

A detailed front and back reference sheet of an original transformer character named Arc. The design takes inspiration from the transformers animated design style, choosing only to show key features of her alt. mode, such as the cockpit nestled between the layered armor of her chest, and the two set of blade like wing that sit layered on her back. The rest of the armor is drawn with rounded shapes and corners that often come to a point, with notable gaps between the pieces, showing a dark, dull purple that contrast with the brighter and more vibrant orange and orange browns used for the armor pieces and cream white used for trimming, resulting in an over all more feminine humanoid appearance. The character's face continues this appearance by having a very soft and rounded appearance, i.e. rounded face shape, small nose ridge, full lip. Notably, there is a rounded visor covering her eyes, keeping the viewer from seeing them at all. This visor is the same cream color as the trimming on her armor and the large, tear drop shaped glass that sits in the larger tear drop shaped crest on her helm. The other most notable feature of her helm are the large, section fins on either side of it that connect to her audible ports.
