I am still waiting for my previous job to give me my severance. This is so fucking stressful. Being laid off sucks so bad. The Job market sucks. Florida sucks and we need to get out here. I don't know what to do.

It's a sick joke is what it is. Since last Wednesday I have applied to 71 jobs. All remote work. My experience matches the roles exactly. So far I have 5 rejections and 1 One-Way Interview. I'll be filming and submitting the interview tomorrow.

Remember to be kind to yourself. If you can't do everything you set out to do today, that is okay. Do what you can do then step back and be kind to yourself. The rest can wait for tomorrow. If you get the energy later then go for it. Do the thing. If not, resting is the best selfcare. <3

Yes 1000% this. At the same time as it frustrates me though, it also makes me realize that I have so much more empathy than neurotypicals. It is not uncommon for various media to very easily make me tear up and cry because I literally feel that deep sadness and loss that the media is trying to show.

OMG when I was finally diagnosed and learned this it made everything click as to why I am so unable to control my emotions. Everyone just thinks I'm not trying but I am trying so hard, but it's like trying to hold back a T-Rex on a leash for a small dog.
