Every time we had a completely useless meeting at the library I worked at, all I could think was "I could be checking in, shelving, actually helping our patrons...." But I came from customer service positions, not office jobs, so I guess I didn't have the right mindset =_=

I can't speak for YouTube since I have, you know, a brain, but as a viewer of videos I prefer when the fOrBiDdEn words are either beeped with a noise that's not too obnoxious (I have sensitive ears) or just blanked out without a sound or replacement word 😅 Sucks to have to self censor but /shrugs

We had to buy her her own office chair so she'd stop stealing our computer chairs... I had to put on a heating pad and the fleece I got for myself before she'd actually use it - speaking of spoiled! 😆 But she's cute haha

I've only had cats since moving out of my parents' house but, yes, they are the same 😅 My current cat prefers the string from the broken toy to the ones that still have feathers, and she'd rather sleep in a box than the nice new fluffy bed that arrived in said box

I once woke to find a small McDonald's bag with one medium fries in it and a DoorDash receipt on my porch, ice cold. I don't use DoorDash. I felt so bad that someone ordered such a sad little midnight snack and didn't even get to eat it ^.^
