Today my love and I are reading at Dunkin. I’ve been enjoying Hark! The herald angels scream a lot. It’s a really good anthology of Christmas themed horror. My favorite so far is Seanan McGuire’s fresh as the new fallen snow. Though “Good deeds” by Jeff Strand

I might be still in the tutorial phase of learning node.js. But thanks to help from Traversy Media's node JS crash course, I'm feeling "slightly" more comfortable with the idea of back end work. I think I should learn more about HTTP communication and JSON files before I move on.

Something cool I’m working on, a text based turn based combat system. I fully intend to remake this in Godot at some point in the future. But I feel like I owe it to my 15 year old self to finally make that text based game she desperately wanted to make.

Two bangers. Back to back. I dismissed this book early on. It took me two days to finish it once I picked it back up. Solid story. Good ending. 📚💙

My partner’s (@fearlesslyreads.bsky.social) mom gave me this book to read. I’ve read it all in two days. All I can say is wow. This was a real slow burn into a double surprise explosive finish. I was ready to quit 24 pages before the book ended. I was disappointed. I’m glad I finished. Just wow 💙📚
