Thank you for not running for reelection! We always think we can and should do more and it can be hard to step back and let others take the lead. I don’t agree with some things you’ve done but I respect you for this

We will get through this. We just got to watch out for each other
April 9, 2025 at 3:39 PM
There is good news on that front to be found but yeah it’s scary
April 9, 2025 at 3:27 PM
I feel that. And i wish more dems were as supportive and defensive of their rights as AOC and Bernie which is why I got a little excited to see Corey Booker even with his faults. “Erin in the morning” or @erinreed.bsky.social is a great places to keep up-to-date on queer news.

Feel free to DM me if you ever want to rant about the establishment or the dems
April 9, 2025 at 3:18 PM
That is true I can’t argue with that but Biden was old establishment very old and he was afraid of the kind of precedent it would set. Now that didn’t matter in the end ofc. it was madness inducing watching him take these missed steps that’s why I think we have to fight for younger candidates
April 9, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Yeah the purple dems didn’t help with that. We have to work to get them replaced that’s why volunteer phone bank with progressive victory. We’ve taken a lot of Ls which is why it’s healthy and good to look at your Ws.But never forget. I got a grudge list too but I’m just trying to move them left
April 9, 2025 at 3:03 PM
The Attorney General is the one that really screwed us on that. It’s exhausting and infuriating watching all of these opportunities get squandered But one must persevere and not give in to doming and infighting. We are stronger together. I just believe with the system we have we have to be strategic
April 9, 2025 at 2:57 PM
And I don’t disagree with that. I think they should do more. But they’re not all fascist and good can still be done from within. I think they need our support more now than ever. I’m still angrily commenting under the 10 cr trader Dems who threw away all that leverage
April 9, 2025 at 2:50 PM
2/2 Otherwise we get this reputation for being utterly unpleased and never voting because we can never be satisfied. and I think it’s good to never be satisfied! Progress is a ladder that we climb not one singular destination that we get to and stop at.
April 9, 2025 at 2:43 PM
1/2 And I wish we could have a broken system where they didn’t have to compromise like that for any amount of good to happen. But to make that happen I believe we have to get excited when they do good shit to help balance out when we’re mad at them for doing cringe shit.
April 9, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Thanks, and hey I love that you’re passionate. And I know it’s more frustrating when democrats make compromises cuz there our party and should be working for our interests instead. But it’s unreasonable to go after them the same as republicans who push this shit. It gives the idea that there equals.
April 9, 2025 at 2:27 PM
“Do not let your inability to do everything under mine your determination to do something” is a good line! My dad used to say “don’t let perfect be the enemy of progress” he was mostly talking about homework though lol
April 9, 2025 at 2:13 PM
You gonna be that hard on the republicans the champion that shit?
April 9, 2025 at 2:03 PM
No one is perfect. I’m not going to let perfect be the enemy of good. I would like a better stance on Israel but at least he isn’t asking for the middle East to be glassed. In a political atmosphere like this you have to manage your expectations a little
April 9, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Ya love to see it! I definitely have a lot more respect for Cory Booker after the filibuster he did and listening to him champion our most vulnerable people! Especially trans people and other LGBTQ folks. Glad to see them not thrown under the bus. Exited for the future of his career!!

I can’t express how much relief it gives me to live in a state where my representatives do right by their constituents basically every time. I never feel like I have to call to make sure my voice is heard cuz I know y’all always have our backs. And we have your back too
March 29, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Good thing some of the courts are doing their job because you’re not doing yours. Pathetic enabling cuck. Just retire if you’re to old and feeble to do the job that needs to be done
March 29, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Too bad you gave away all of your leverage with that cr vote. Is your brain still bleeding? If one stroke made you a republican maybe a second one will turn you back into a democrat 🤔
March 29, 2025 at 10:22 PM
No but apparently you’ll vote for it like you did with the CR. You won’t stand for it, you’ll sit down and do nothing like you always do. So why don’t you do your constituents a favor get out of the way of the people who are actually trying to make life better. Resign
March 29, 2025 at 10:20 PM
You should’ve demanded better instead of voting with Republicans and enabling all this to happen. History will not look kindly on this
March 29, 2025 at 10:18 PM
You’re the one who voted to give up all your leverage. Reap as you have sown Gary
March 29, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Pathetic. You think if you stay moderate the Republicans will “return to normal”. How long have you been buying that up? Obama was talking about that in 2012 in the pre Trump era. This is a problem that’s always existed in the Republican Party and it’s not going away when he dies. Move on Chuck
