I have considered it & think it's deeply concerning & wouldn't want to compound it by giving it more PII. Although, I had also considered maybe the government has already used AI just not for the purpose you described. I regret that you thought my intent was to argue. I was actually curious.

I’m genuinely curious. If what is put into ChatGPT is likely also informing the model’s future outputs, why would feeding unfathomable amounts of child sexual assault and the names of those children into ChatGPT be a good idea rather than human rights violations?

I'm having the biggest case of FOMO. Someone needs to convince Princeton that public lectures should involve streaming. They should at least try it out in Feb and Mar.

And if there social media is just them talking at people with no responses to questions or concerns then I might even work to recruit those opponents.

I wish all it took to defeat bigotry was to connect bigots to someone in the demographic. The number of disowned queer folks and the slavers who sold their children proves otherwise. In my experience, proximity is neither necessary nor sufficient for decency and respect for human rights.

And the truth is. Police have always treated Black communities the way they are treating everyone right now. When we are learning our lessons from this moment, I hope one is trust Black folks when we tell you what oppression looks like.

When the best you can say about research is it’s a semi-novel form of victim blaming, it’s probably research a university shouldn’t be going out of their way to share with the public.
