Yes, they understand. They don't care. They know that THEY and THEIR immediate families will be ok. Beyond that? Indifference.

Not if those "high paying manufacturing jobs" never materialize & instead are replaced by automation, robots, AI, etc. instead of humans in order to maximize profits & value to shareholders.

There are different models. I have one that DOES have a manual key backup. I have not had to change the battery since 2018.

The thing is, how many people SAY they are willing to help simply to get the extra legroom? We don't know & hopefully will never find out if they really intend to.
