Not since SCOTUS blessed Citizens United. I think McConnell once stated that money is speech and Romney definitely said corporations are people. We of the HOI POLLOI don't stand a chance. 🥺

Dist. 1 has been carved into a huge strip of farm country designed to keep him office. Us regular folks don't have the kind of money needed to buy his attention. But, as long as he brings in RNC donations, his Oversight starring role is a lock.
