And I'll say the thing I have already said so many times: the EU would want to see proof of intent to stay, as they know as well as we do that a Tory (or Tory/Reform coalition) would immediately reverse any attempt to rejoin.

Agree. And the EU are very aware that the Tories/Reform are a massive stumbling block to us rejoining. As soon as they regain power, they will reverse it.
