Yeah our high school went hard line from day one 2024. And my teen is very complaint. They are lucky we have flexibility with work to just leave when needed. Not every kid has that ability 🙃

Last week my daughter had a whole day workshop (which we were very supportive of) at school. When she arrived they said their school day would end at 1:30pm. She couldn’t let us know and the school didn’t either. So got the txt for a pick up once she could leave school grounds. It’s stupid AF.

IT PM here, but I did time as a test analyst, BA and change/release manager too - needless to say - testing and UAT is essential 😅

I ask because my kid has very accidentally gone missing once after school. She thought I was picking her up, I thought she was going home with a friend. She didn’t turn her phone on and was at the school freaking out. It was a whole thing that I will not repeat…

I went to an engagement party for two lovely people tonight. That was fab.

Mine is very much similar but it follows my childhood hopeful future and hasn’t really changed except for the players. I’m not doing anything like my real life though, career wise, etc.

I pay 117 a month for three cats SC plus dental. Definitely have considered whether it would be better to pay that same amount into a saving account or direct to the vet onto our account 🤐

I saw a call from a political expert that she should speak up. Which was weird to me because if the matter is under investigation no one should speak up until it’s resolved.

Ah fair enough! My youngest was always picking up tummy bugs so the sheets just never came off because even if they weren’t there for wee, they worked for vomit 🥳 I use to have them angled to save the pillow too.

Ugh! I remember those days well. I had several brolly sheets that just never came off beds (except for washing obvs).
