So maybe the problem wasn’t with the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics after all. The data didn’t lie, but the way it was interpreted, spun, and weaponized certainly did. Numbers are neutral it’s the narratives built around them that reveal where the real accountability should fall.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
