We take the small mercies
This would be a problem for law-based States, even when the Prosecutor is not an accused sexual predator.

The reality here, when you strip away the rhetoric, is that the ICC Prosecutor—based on his own ideology and whims—is claiming the right to remove and imprison democratic leaders when the Prosecutor disagrees with a government's national security policy.

Those of us who opposed the creation of the International Criminal Court (ICC) root-and-branch have reasons for optimism. The ICC cannot touch Israel's leaders, but this has shown that our worst forecasts about this wretched institution were accurate. Provides a focal point for collective action.
