It's been a minute, but I finally got around to writing down some thoughts I've had for the past few years on #accessibility. Would love it if y'all could give it a read and let me know what you think!

Separate is Not Equal
When trying our best to support the European Accessibility Act, we need to be careful to avoid two major fallacies I've seen.

In a break from the craziness of life, I wrote a post about a #lego moc design from my weekend. Hope you enjoy! kylewest.dev/blog/moc/min...

1st #design challenge of the new year: a minor refresh to my website!

Better dark mode. New font. More accurate GitHub stats.

I chose "DM Mono" as my font because I feel like it gives off "friendly programmer" vibes. Before I was a long font-family set, and it was devoid of all personality. #lgtm

My main #resolution for new years is to become better at UI design. I understand many of the principles around what makes a good user experience, but I know I have a lot to learn around how to make something look good. I'll try to post here more about my learning journey. Wish me luck!

Well I'm officially 30 now. Someone made a python library "with Rizz" and there are too many slangs that I've never heard of.

I had to look up: "just put the fries in the bag bro", haha. I'm probably going to use it wrong, and but I'm unashamed to try.
