Just some kitties basking in some sunshine.

Krios is obsessed with towels. Put a towel down, he’ll lay there.

I have this take that I'm struggling to put into words, but I believe when possible, you should prefer maps to conditionals.

There was a talk by Sandi Metz years ago, I'll try and find it, but she says, "I'm condition averse, I want to pass messages to objects" and I think she's right.

I didn’t get to share this since my vacation, hasn’t been cold enough to wear it, but I picked up this really cool hoodie at the Museum of Anthropology.

Just finished Recursion by Blake Crouch. This book was phenomenal.

It’s what Christopher Nolan wishes Tenet was.

Then we went to the Museum of Anthropology. Incredible collection.

The whole time I was thinking, “Art is what we make when we have time. So few of us have time anymore.”

Last day in Vancouver photo dump. Started the day getting an amazing brunch in Chinatown.

Sausage and two eggs on top of maple ricotta pancakes. It was perfect.

Also went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, that was a lot of fun.

I didn’t take pictures from the bridge, too busy keeping my balance, but here are pictures from around the park.

Took the tram up Grouse Mountain today. Pictures can’t do it justice. Pretty way to view Vancouver.

Do you got friends that love you enough to make you a custom bags set with your faces on it?

Will there ever come a day I don't have to teach people this lesson? Enumerate, don't boolean-ate, people.

Something that just clicked for me, template string types in TypeScript make Cartesian products sooooo easy.

Haven’t had front steps since I tore down the dilapidate wooden deck last summer. So close to having this done.

All those years of math paid off. Finally had an occasion for using a quadratic equation in some code.

I'm building a little wedge training program in my golf stats app, and the scoring system is intended to reward good shots and severely punish really bad ones.
