Thats what I’m thinking as well. Carbonite boxes are likely far too expensive for mass market as well. $25 for a pack, when really the whole purpose is for a kid to want a random pack of cards while shopping kind of defeats the purpose. Pokemon doesn’t really do collectors stuff at retail do they?

It might be that only LGS style retailers have access to Carbonite through distributers.

Are Carbonite packs anywhere mass market though? I feel like I’ve only seen standard boosters at Target etc since it went mass market with LOF….

I’m new to the security industry, but I’m pretty sure app integrity on a phone is supposed to be more secure than browser connections. But thats not my field of study 🤷‍♂️

Duhp, you’re right. I focused on the repost. First sentence definitely contradictory. Lol

But is essentially Open Source (for now). And not funding billionaires actively trying to destroy humanity.

Can I ask, if an IT individual uses ChatGPT vs. Google to troubleshoot an issue is it any different? Cause I hate to break it to you, but IT has been doing that since the 90s.

At least not for the reasons you're stating.

My point is you're saying we're cooked. I'm telling you we're not anymore than the invention of the calculator, or the computer itself.
December 12, 2024 at 4:06 AM
ChatGPT, and Wikipedia =/= the same thing as tools.
December 12, 2024 at 4:03 AM
Right. I'm saying I think your point is moot. Those that rely on calculators probably aren't our top mathematicians, same as those relying on ChatGPT for Cybersecurity are not top of the industry. So what does it matter?
December 12, 2024 at 4:02 AM
I just finished my first semester of school studying Cybersec. I think you're looking at this the wrong way. It is clearly a tool in the industry, but if you are in the industry and relying on these things you won't get very far. Imagine if mathematicians relied on calculators exclusively.

That one was low on my Free League interest, until I saw the movie trailer that dropped during GHC. I'm intrigued.
