And I disagree with her conclusion. If you don’t offer a voting base anything why should they turn out for you? If you support them for free why would they give you anything more? This argument makes no sense. You’re saying give up all political capital so that maybe you get a crumb later.

Voter shaming won’t net you a victory either. How did Obama win in a landslide? He got people excited.

The job of politicians is to get people excited to vote for you and support you. If you don’t understand that than idk what to tell ya. Do something to get people excited about you or continue to lose. Choosing to be a diet republican will always result in a full republican.
