They’re saying they think each player that comes out of their academy is better than any player in the draft. They would rather play a 16-18 year old academy kid for Union 2 than a 22 year old player out of college with a much lower ceiling. The draft is nothing but scrap players to them.

They sold Mcglynn for $3.4 mil. Not an equal trade.

With how good some academies are now and especially Philly’s, the draft is worth nothing to them. I would take a Union Homegrown over any top draft pick.
