Taking #3 with the best MV over more popular groups is the maid cafe @Seventeen. The only thing holding it back from #1 are the vocals but I did like this on Spotify so it's still a good song on it's own. The highlight is 100's of cute things the members do in only 4 minutes!

Circus style outfits can be hit-or-miss with these ones worn by ZIGA being a huge hit (I liked the ANGERME circus outfits that most people hate so take that with a grain of salt). Circus style songs can also fall into a trap of all sounding the same but this song stands out!

There was an amazing RPG MV from Batten Girls but I don't like the song. This MADMED MV has a video game theme too but is much darker. A dream version of the world is just a fake-out leading to an epic bloody ending! They seem to parody that DeathIdol(?) troll from Twitter. 😂

Most the anime stuff we get is either theme songs or the groups within music anime. Going the opposite way is Utahime Dream who started as cover singers and will now get an anime about them. A classic song here with a beyond simple video but wow do they sound like Aibon & Nono!

There was a nice Koresawa MV but the couples theme actually made me sad. NMB48 had a good video but average song & KOMAGOME had the opposite. That leaves this simple but well done MV from Daizy for #3. I like the idea that I could end up in a Jpop MV anytime I'm out in public!

I was excited for this ≠ME MV as it's their 11th single released at 11:11pm on 11-11. Despite finishing 2nd place it didn't disappoint at all. Maybe some AI but not enough to take away from the S-tier cinematography! The locations & outfits pop thanks to the cameras & members!

I also prefer cool style group who are a hybrid of cute such as Girls². While I'mew are mostly just an orthodox group this song does lean cool and the dance practice outfits over cute dresses leans it even farther. Overall very fun! This beat out pole dancing from MCZ's Ayaka!

A win or go home battle for #2 between dark/alt idol groups. Overall I do prefer a cute hybrid dark idol over the more masculine style which did impact my decision. The debut by Death Candy was cool but I also prefer the song from Dnyan more. Each member stood-out on their own!
