You definitely have to be intentional in your purpose with this style of crochet. I wouldn't go in with a project in mind with your partial balls. I WILL be finding a larger project for this technique!

The ends don't necessarily have to be weaved in. You can do an envelope border around to hide them.

You do not turn your work.. you work either left to right or right to left depending on your dominant hand. I work right to left since I am right handed. Because you don't turn your work, the pattern is only on the RS.

Here is my review!!
There is a slight learning curve, when you get used to it it's quite relaxing.The only stitches used in basic mosaic are SC and DC. The patterns are written on a grid.
For this particular thing I made the DC is represented with an X in its square while the SC square was blank.
