At home, we must not let this tragedy divide us.
Peace abroad demands compassion at home.
Every life, every child, is sacred.

Let us find the moral courage to say: enough of the bloodshed, enough of the despair.

But peace will not come through vengeance. The devastation in Gaza, the anguish in Israel and Palestine reminds us:
Violence cannot build justice, and hatred cannot secure freedom.

True peace begins when we see the humanity in one another. 🕊️

We must continue to demand their return as brothers and sisters in a shared human family.

Their freedom is not a political cause – it is a moral imperative. ✡️

Lives were stolen. Families were torn apart. And, today, hostages are still held far from home.

We must refuse to allow their suffering to fade into silence.🕯️

Let’s keep investing in community, in culture, and in artists who reflect the heart of NYC.

We also brought that same energy to the #152ndStreetFestival in the Bronx to celebrate Puerto Rican heritage through music, dance, food, and joy.
