Hockey Canada has announced that Quebec City will host 2027 IIHF Women’s World Championship and 2029 IIHF World Junior Championship. Videotron Centre, home of the Quebec Ramparts, will host both tournaments. Trois-Rivières will co-host the World Juniors, home of the Trois-Rivières Lions. #Hockey

Darren Dreger is expecting Hockey Canada to announce Dale Hunter as Head Coach for the Canadian World Junior team and Mark Hunter in management. Hunter previously coached the team in 2019 and 2020, where he lost in the quarterfinals in 2019 and won gold in 2020.

Some news, Handball Canada has been officially recognized as a National Sports Organization (NSO) by Sport Canada. This means they will get federal funding. Handball was the only sport in the Olympics not recognized by Sport Canada. #Canada

Bruno Idžan was selected 181st by the Ottawa Senators and becomes the first Croatian to be drafted in the NHL draft. Huge achievement to a guy that was developed in Sweden and moved to the United States for the last few years.
