I think it's just devices that are more than 12 years old - 1st and 2nd gen thermostats that were sold prior to Google's purchase of Nest.

I hate that people keep saying "don't be distracted." Are we just supposed to ignore the atrocities because some other atrocity is happening? I can be concerned about more than one thing at a time.

Aside from mortgage rates and inflation, I'm terrified to spend any money right now until we know where the overall economy is headed. My wife and I would love a little more space but we're staying put with all the uncertainty.
