I live in SC but work but in NC so I can relate. A lot of religious organizations (people like Franklin Graham) publicly endorse Trump, which carries a lot of weight. I also think there were was a lot of money pouring into NC for Republican campaigns that really helped sway swing voters.

Totally agree. Although Mark Robinson did way better than he ever should have given how bat shit crazy he was and all the negative publicity surrounding him. We live in the upside down.

💯 I hope it sends a message to Republican voters that their GOP reps lack the character, courage, and competency to stand in front of them and account for what is happening. I just hope we can get more Democrats filling the void at these townhalls. It’s a huge missed opportunity if we don’t.

At a time when it’s easy to feel defeated and hopeless, there’s a person like Tim Walz who rolls up his sleeve and gets to work. By doing these townhalls (he didn’t have to do), we can build a bigger and stronger coalition, giving us the chance we need to take back our government and democracy.

Definitely inappropriate but I can almost guarantee it wasn’t the dumbest or scariest thing he said that day which is why this stuff just blows over without mention or scrutiny. I hate to admit it, but that flood the zone crap works.

Consequences for sure…Especially, if there are no more free and fair elections. Not as insane as it sounds unfortunately.
