it does: it's not israel's responsibility to protect gaza, it's Hamas'; official, Mousa Abu Marzouk, stated Hamas is "not responsible" for protecting Gazan civilians. though a non-state actor, is bound by international humanitarian law (IHL) to protect civilians and avoid using them as human shields

UN documented this. Hamas used hospitals Kamal Adwan &Al-Shifa to store weapons, launch attacks, &shelter militants ICRC stated "hospitals are given special protection under int'l humanitarian law during war, if militants store weapons there, use them as a base of fire; that protection falls away"
Israel says these photos show how Hamas places weapons in and near U.N. facilities in Gaza, including schools
Israel has accused Hamas militants in Gaza of committing "double war crimes" by not only firing rockets at civilians, but firing them from and near United Nations-run facilities.

Ganymede is bigger than Mercury, it has a magnetic field (which no other moon in the solar system has) that protects it from Jupiter’s intense radiation. Also, it has more liquid water than any other object in the solar system INCLUDING EARTH.

the FBI profiler commented that his pattern was unusual, the actual kill itself and get away was relatively clean, but was very slopply in the lead up "like he read a book, but not very carefully" his review of kazinsky's manefesto reads similarly.

it's the same question. and i provided the source of the question. Your scenario is 100% dissimilar where the entire party didn't excoriate him publicly, drag him through the mud, they privately reproved him, which was the historic norm.
November 21, 2024 at 5:52 PM
imagine if the entire republican party had instead publically excoriated Nixon, instead. Parties just don't do that.
November 21, 2024 at 1:11 AM
nope. Republicans didn't make fun of their own candidate and demand he stepped down mid election. instead, he was impeached. The closest analogy Is Lyndon Johnson.

Previously, there was always a gentleman's agreement to not point out a president's health flaws: Reagan, FDR, Kennedy. the latter two wore braces during debates and the media and their party agreed to not drag through mud. Not since Lyndon Johnson has anything remotely similar occured.

Bleep. Boop.

I'm in the stage of still migrating my interests over. I like the starter packs.

When was the last time a party threw their own candidate out of office? Never. Under Kenedy, FDR, and Reagan the parties rallied behind to hide a weak candidate.
