Sounds like they’ve truly replicated the feel of playing the first game

Really great writing - clunky combat xD

So if you had a large portion of the wealth in this country owned by rich people & corporations (the graph tracks income not wealth) such as housing during a housing shortage - inflating prices

This would prevent social mobility causing more poor folk - causing the results we see on that graph

So the percentage of tax share paid by the rich would go up if more people were poor

And if they earnt more

And both at once can account for the increase there

Yes - remember in the UK you don’t pay tax under a certain amount of income - and it’s a staggered increasing system - so if a lot more people are poor then the percentage of tax paid by the rich will go up even if their income doesn’t shift

This could be answered by rising inequality - their tax share is higher because they own a larger percentage of the wealth

I honestly don’t have an issue with modern day word usage - there’s a lot of anachronisms in dragon age - from Varrics book signings to the way Alistair speaks (“extreme, yay!” Etc) to Jowan saying “the clock is ticking”

Hell there was an news guy in Orzammar that said “epic fail” in origins

If you want fiction with a focus on LGBT characters I’ve just started Daughter of the bone forest which has been really great

Aye the point I was trying to make was that if a show is set in the ST universe was trying something new I wouldn’t have a problem with that - I love new things - but I do have an issue that every new ST show is aping other shows

The problem for me isn’t that it doesn’t feel like Star Trek - it’s that it feels like every other sci-fi show and movie available and there hasn’t been a Star Trek show that feels like classic Star Trek in a long time.

Without Johnny at least planting a fake nuke (with Morgan having the real one) it doesn’t make sense to why Arasaka put him through soul killer and on that chip in the first place - with revenge seeming the main motivation
December 3, 2024 at 5:39 PM
Considering the game didn’t give a clear answer on if it was Kai Arasaka or Morgan’s team that nuked the tower in the first place and no one in game contradicts that he could have nuked the tower - just another addition to the options

Johnny didn’t do it solo he had a team he just killed a lot of people at the end - but it’s easily conceivable that his version of events were accurate considering other characters treat his reputation as earned

I do think this is a mix of book story Vs game story - V and Johnny take on Arasaka tower basically alone if you choose that ending showing that Johnnys version of events may be true in the games story timeline
December 3, 2024 at 10:59 AM
I think this disconnect is between the game and the books - in the game story Johnny did do it - as proven by that Johnny and V together can take the whole tower alone the second time
