Nova Scotian living in Germany. Privileged to travel the world with my husband, doing the clinical and teaching work that I love for an NGO.
The most difficult year of my life with the hardest lesson of all- learning to live without my Mom. There's been so much I've wanted to share with her, so many times I wanted to hear her voice or feel her arms around me once more. Missed beyond measure, my beautiful Mom 💙

The setting sun in Byblos, Lebanon. A beautiful end to a perfect day in this ancient city.

Israel is deliberately depriving people of water in #Gaza.

The amount of water available for Palestinians is incredibly insufficient.

This is unacceptable: www.doctorswithoutborders.ca/palestine-is...

Tomas. The best boy. 24 years on this earth was not long enough. May he be surrounded by what he loved: bubble wrap, vacuum treatments, ice cream and cuddles, sitting in the lap of my Mom 🩵

Well, that's embarrassing, especially for a news organization. They misspelled "lies" 🤦🏻‍♀️

#Gaza: The U.S.-Israel plan to control the distribution of supplies under the guise of humanitarian assistance raises grave ethical, security and legal concerns.

Doctors Without Borders call on Israeli authorities to uphold International Humanitarian Law.

Share if you do too.

ALS stole my Mom long before she died. My talented sister is raising money in support of the ALS Society of Canada. Imagine, with your help, a cure can be found for this horrific disease.

My beautiful mom would have turned 78 today if ALS hadn't taken her four months ago. A wonderful woman. A horrible disease. I'm missing her even more today 💔

Upstairs neighbours' kids: brick shoes, love of jumping, unlimited energy and hate sleep. I can't work or rest. Talks and complaints go nowhere. Mental breakdown prevention efforts underway.

Took a pic on the train to show my friend the German countryside. Saw the swastika after I sent it. Definitely not as wide-reaching as an inauguration, though highly concerning nonetheless. What we excuse, we permit.
