Nature, animals, Star Trek, science, Chicago, weather, urbanism and NASCAR. I contain multitudes. Data geek by trade, nerd by choice.
All of Chicago screamed.

To be 2 sided

It would be nice for the rivalry to 2 sided again.

Amazing what happens when a talented QB meets a talented coaching staff. Even more amazing to see it happen in Chicago. The evolution of Caleb has been fun to watch.

Horrible horrible news. He always seemed like a good guy and his actions after Hurricane Helene were downright heroic.

At this point I expect them to announce they're looking at moving to Oakland.

I think they get permanent charters and 23XI and FRM get some undisclosed monetary damages. I doubt the settlement will change NASCAR from the fans' view. Maybe BassPro Shops forces new leadership, but that will be outside the settlement.

A game between Ohio State & Michigan looks no different than a game between 2 NFL teams. NASCAR's argument is weak. They fear without an iron lock on stock car racing (which they have via the track contracts) they'd have to pay the teams more & address fan complaints or lose to a competitor.

I can agree that NASCAR could reasonably be allowed to stop Chase from driving in a different stock car series while a NASCAR employee. But NASCAR saying a track can't host a car race that might resemble NASCAR is like the NFL telling the Superdome that they can't host the Bayou Classic.

When I lived in the city I would make sure to catch it at least once every year. Never disappoints.
