I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean, take this Poseidon and use it as your avatar? That's fine as long as you credit me! ✨

Yessss, thanks for noticing! ✨ It's from a real vase painting depicting the return of Hephaestus (which I redrawn with my own designs)

In the end, as promised, Aphrodite was given to him in marriage, a union she was forced to reluctantly accept, while Ares stood humbly aside, defeated, looked upon with contempt by Athena.

There he freed his mother and Zeus, impressed by his cunning and his great skill in creating such a trap from which not even he had been able to free his wife, granted him the title of Olympian and the right to dwell among the other gods.

Satisfied with the plan, Hephaestus mounted the mule brought by Dionysus and ascended Olympus at his side.

When he was overcome by the wine's fumes, Dionysus gave him his advice.
He told him to ascend Olympus himself and free his mother, of his own free will, so that he could claim the beautiful and lascivious Aphrodite as his prize and be fully accepted among the other Olympians.

He told him he had no desire to marry golden Aphrodite, but instead he had a plan to help him, if Hephaestus was willing to listen and share a drink with him.
Hephaestus agreed and began to drink the sweet wine offered by the bull-horned god.

He had no intention of freeing his mother; in his anger, he even denied ever having had one at all.

Then Dionysus stepped forward and went in peace to the Divine Smith.

But Hephaestus was not caught off guard. He responded with a storm of flaming metal, and Ares was forced to retreat. Defeated.

Other gods attempted the feat, but Hephaestus refused to speak with any of them.

yeah, Ody knows that Posy loves him that he will wait for him, but it's always better when he has him under his eye, he knows all the Posy myths by heart 😅
And I'm glad you like Penelope 💗

The woman who brought Posy is Amphitrite, and yeah, Hades on long distance relationships is definitely better 😅

P.S. The barrier isn't a real barrier; Posy could physically cross it, but if he did, he'd risk intervention from Zeus or Athena

He told him what had happened and threatened that if he didn’t punish them, he would descend to Hades to shine among the dead, no longer upon the living and the other immortals.

In the Odyssey, when Odysseus’s companions took advantage of their captain’s absence to eat the Sun’s sacred cattle, the latter immediately went to Zeus.
