"The Trump administration has secretly authorized the C.I.A. to conduct covert action in Venezuela, according to U.S. officials, stepping up a campaign against Nicolás Maduro, the country’s authoritarian leader."

NYT, October 15, 2025
Venezuela says a CIA-backed cell planned to hit the USS Gravely and blame Caracas; Washington denies the claim, calling it unverified and offering no comment on alleged covert actions.

The first time a politician has ever told me that they *don't* want my money.

Mamdani continues to break the mold in refreshing, energized ways. No wonder Trump and the DNC establishment are scared.
I am once again asking you to stop sending us money.

But we do need your time. ⏰

Treasury Department files reviewed by Senator Ron Wyden’s staff members show 4,725 wire transfers, adding up to nearly $1.1 billion, associated with just one of Mr. Epstein’s bank accounts. Follow. The. Money.
"Epstein clearly had access to enormous financing to operate his sex trafficking network, and the details on how he got the cash to pay for it are sitting in a Treasury Department filing cabinet." https://trib.al/ZTn3IyO

OK, Secretary Noem, then show us the receipts that you extended those contracts.

Turn over documents detailing exactly when you renewed those contracts.

There needs to be bipartisan oversight and Congressional hearings over these truly unacceptable failures.
WELKER: The NYT is reporting that thousands of calls from flood victims to FEMA calls centers went unanswered in the middle of this ongoing disaster because you didn't renew contracts to keep call center staff in place until nearly a week after the floods.

NOEM: False reporting. Fake news.

I’ve been telling you guys. My twice Reagan voting “moderate” mother sends me nothing but Bernie clips. His position IS moderate now! He’s calling out corruption and he’s for public school teachers like her!
I thought this line was particularly telling, and not just for New Yorkers:

“I never used to be as far left as a Bernie [Sanders], but those are the only people who are looking out for us,” said Anita Hennessey, a 61-year-old child care worker.
Spent a couple of weekends with Zohran Mamdani on the campaign trail.

Come for one of Mamdani's canvassers calling him "our generation's Fiorello La Guardia." Stay for a retiree stopping him in the street to grill him on the viability of his tax plan. www.nydailynews.com/2025/05/31/z...

I do understand that Biden’s inner circle covered up his decline. Got it. What I don’t understand is the same journalists and pundits pounding that story are ignoring this psychopath like it’s normal. I accepted Biden was old all along. I can’t accept this lunatic leading us.

The Qatar bribe is *initially* going to the Department of Defense so Donald can avoid paying for jet fuel, pilots, and maintenance. It is *then* going to his "Library" so Donald can can continue avoiding personally paying such costs--and avoid paying taxes. The entire scheme is a scam.

Donald "No Responsibility" Trump is trying to blame Biden and Pete Buttigieg for current air traffic control problems.

Meanwhile, back in the real world . . . Republicans in Congress REFUSED Buttigieg’s call for funding more air traffic controllers. And Trump/DOGE then stepped in and fired many.

Lawlessness is intentionally removing prisoners from the US courts' jurisdiction so you have no accountability when you deprive them of their rights and do other awful things to them.

The thing you monsters forgot: The courts still have jurisdiction over YOU for doing that.

This is how it’s done folks. If your rep won’t hold a town hall because they know what they’re doing is unpopular, hold one for them and let everyone in your community know what they’re up to.
Congressman Jack Bergman’s constituents held a town hall tonight—because their cowardly congressman refused.
He’s happy to cash a taxpayer-funded paycheck but too scared to face the people he’s supposed to represent. Pathetic.
