hubby got me into this one
it's really fun if you ignore that it's old, missing QoL, and don't read whatever the short people in g1 are yapping about, but jesus christ there's so many poorly explained mechanics that you can ignore without any detriment that it feels bloated at times

iirc it was just meant to shift the day towards having more sunlight hours during usual wake times in order to save consumption of gas in war times, because they were REALLY desperate to save resources or something like that

yeeeah unfortunately there isn't much more to it than "oh cynosure tried to weaponise deep web ais by making them 100 times more powerful and bartmoss basically freed them from their prison until netwatch built a wall", that's All there is to it

yeah ngl it was a lot better, gameplay wise and writing-wise, undoubtedly, but nothing will ever beat how fucking sick the section was where you went side by side with so mi at the train terminal just killing people with the blackwall

also yeah, curiousity got the better of me. while king of wands was cool, i just wanted to see what this was about since i've seen a short clip of the cynosure facility and couldn't help myself. i think insofar as my playthrough goes, i'll be replacing this as my "canon" ending for PL.
