Escape from the city, the song from sonic adventures 2, can imo be read as a song about finding ones courage to be openly queer. Not knowing what will happen if you come out but trusting in yourself and with luck making it through it. That there is no other way to be.

Oh btw I did and people are having a much easier time gendering me correctly. :3
I probably should commit to presenting fem at work. What I learned on my work trip so far is half the people call me she/her and lady the oder half he/him and gentleman while preventing masc. :3
