Found this two part series on Instagram by @wildwestsf.bsky.social & i must say, San Francisco seems to be doing something great here. Community planning and getting ahead of the chaos that is ICE raids in a community that does not want them.

American history is so short by global standards (Oxford University has existed for 1000 more years than we have as a nation!) and has been so comparatively blessed by global standards, that we are often blind to how fast things can go to hell in a hand basket.

Hey did you hear Kim proudly say Iowa had DOGE first? Does that mean she stole Iowan’s data before musk did?

William Webster, whom we've known for decades, will turn 101 next month and is a Navy veteran of both WWII and Korea. He is the only person to have directed both CIA and FBI. A total patriot and mensch.

Good to see him trying to shame/encourage the 91-year-old youngster Grassley.
This is what I have to imagine is a relatively rare occurrence of Grassley receiving a letter from someone older than he is.
In an unusually direct appeal, William Webster, a Republican and former director of both the CIA and the FBI, sent a scathing letter to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), urging him to remember his legacy of strengthening the FBI and stop Kash Patel from being confirmed. www.huffpost.com/entry/willia...

Former GOP Director Of FBI, CIA Urges Chuck Grassley To Deny Kash Patel’s Nomination
“After all the hard work that you’ve done over your career, to allow it to be destroyed on your watch would not be a legacy I would want,” warned William Webster.

Everyone who cares about the constitution and rule of law needs to participate in stopping this.
The early days of the second Trump administration have seen violations of the Constitution, statutes, or both. Members of Congress from both parties should be loudly objecting and the courts must step up. But in the end, public opinion will matter most.
Breaking the Law
Just weeks in, the Trump administration has violated rules, laws, and the Constitution.

Senate Democrats are considering voting NO or delaying every Trump nominee as retaliation for his overreach on ending USAID.

Smash the RT if you SUPPORT this plan. ZERO votes from Democrats!!
