Trump has no shot of ending the Russia war of aggression. Regardless of what the outcome is, Russia's economy is so reliant on this war continuing, they'd collapse the second it ended.

You do know the intelligence community in the US told Israel this was going to happen & they did nothing? You also do realize the only reason Putin didn't go in under Trump because they wanted to save resources with a Trump 2020 victory. Why waste resources if Trump will give you everything you want

"Please sir, may i have another?"
November 23, 2024 at 10:33 PM
That was negotiated by Trump and made even worse by him with the release of 5k taliban from Guantanamo. Anything with Afghanistan in regards to Biden is Monday morning quarterbacking on a horrible dealt hand. Trump's idea of pushing back was bending over for dictators and when they were done?
November 23, 2024 at 10:32 PM
Biden, Obama, and Trump were all in the same boat with foreign skirmishes. So the portrayal of Trump as a dove is disingenuous at best
November 23, 2024 at 9:02 PM
That is actually very nuanced and very simplified. If we are to use your definition of no new wars, that also includes Obama www.vox.com/23677654/tru...
The far left and far right agree on Donald Trump’s foreign policy legacy. They’re both wrong.
The emerging revisionist history says Trump was an “anti-imperial” president. Don’t believe it.

There are very few things that way. & besides, global trade is a good thing. If other countries depend on us as much as we depend on them, that helps keep major global conflucts from happening. A lot of the tough talk between us and China is posturing for the masses. Neither want war with each other
November 23, 2024 at 8:20 PM
And Mike Johnson said he wants to repeal the bipartisan CHIPS act (that Vance supported). So he wants to repeal an act that emphasized opening plants and making CHIPS in the US to instead have to import them from Asian countries? And the people behind the curtain will dump Trump ASAP for Vance...

The issue is even if things are assembled in America, very few things actually are COMPLETELY made in America. And even if things are made in America, prices exponentially go up because the company raises the price to just under the foreign-made price.

I really wanted someone to tell him "we were actually in a huge depression, as bad or worse than the great depression, because of tariffs". We weren't prosperous. Our most prosperous time in the nation actually came when the top tax rates were higher...
November 23, 2024 at 8:05 PM
We will agree to disagree on the way to properly shakeup the government. His cabinet picks actually go on from the "business to usual" to the "absolutely absurd". Huge tariffs are the main cause &/or prolonging the last two depressions. When he kept saying "go back to the prosperous 1890s"
November 23, 2024 at 8:03 PM
And as soon as we change the dialogue from "taxpayers should not be on the hook" to "taxpayers are ALREADY ON the hook," something positive will be done.
November 23, 2024 at 7:44 PM
Mine is actually PSLF. We need a dialogue. Biden was simply throwing things out there cause something needs to be done. But if this new administration goes just goes back to Pre Biden rules & loan handouts or privatizes it all, it is clear they are just trying to make someone rich & they don't care
November 23, 2024 at 7:42 PM
I spoke to someone who worked in collecting SLs. He said the government would be ok if they reduced or got rid of interest. SL collectors are thrilled if you tell them "I cannot pay the full monthly fee, but here is half." Like i said, some payment is better than nothing for the federal government

As weird as it sounds, the GI Bill giving free money for college is the catalyst for this. Something needs to be done about the student loan thing. But going back to how it was will not work.
November 23, 2024 at 7:17 PM
I agree. My father worked @ Whirlpool right out of high school & he was a damn good setup man. But when I graduated from high school in '03, no one talked about associate degrees, community college, &/or trade schools. We were basically told "you'll amount to nothing unless you get a 4-year degree"
November 23, 2024 at 7:05 PM
Politicians and parents who acted like anything else but a 4-year college you are worthless
November 23, 2024 at 6:51 PM
I made a deal with the government, they finally lived up to their end of the bargain, my loans were forgiven. Sorry not f'ing sorry. And the predatory lenders are literally praying on teens and young adults who were shoehorned into this thanks to...

Why are so many jobs listed as degree required that easily can be done by a non degree person
November 23, 2024 at 6:44 PM
As soon as we understand the taxpayers have already spent the money and getting something from borrowers is better than getting nothing. And why aren't we addressing baby boomers and gen Z basically forcing 4-year college on millenials with no alternatives?
November 23, 2024 at 6:43 PM
And a lot of those loans forgiven, like mine, we signed an agree with PSLF with the government (during the orange mop'n'glow admin, might i add) and the government finally held up its end. Student loans are broken and doing nothing os bad. Why aren't we going after the predatory lending?
November 23, 2024 at 6:40 PM
And as soon as we get serious on supposed billionaires getting to claim bankruptcy and is not held accountable for paying vendors for their time and work, or rich people getting free loans of PPP money, kindly stfu
November 23, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Plus, if you force some who owes $500 a month to pay all of it when they can't afford it, they throw their hands up and pay nothing. If you give them some help and say, "ok pay half", a lot of them will pay. $250 is more than $0
